مایکروسافت اولین سرویس پک ویندوز سرور 2003 را منتشر ساخت

مايکروسافت دست به انتشار اولين سرويس پک خود براي ويندوز سرور ۲۰۰۳ زد٬ اين سرويس پک براي رفع آخرين مشکلات امنيتي اين نسخه از ويندوز و سازگاري هر چه بيشتر آن با تکنولوژ ي هاي جديد ۶۴ بيتي ميباشد٬ و سعي شده است ويندوز سرور ۲۰۰۳ به گونه يي توسط اين سرويس پک به روز گردد که با محصولات ۶۴ بيتي هر دو ابر کمپاني اينتل و AMD سازگاري کامل داشته باشد.

بر طبق گفته ي بيل گيتس مدير کمپاني مايکروسافت در کنفرانس مهندسي سخت افزاري ويندوز موسوم به WinHEC تا پايان سال ۲۰۰۵ کليه ي توليدات کمپاني هاي AMD و اينتل با تکنولوژي ۶۴ بيتي به بازار عرضه خواهند شد و دنياي کامپيوتر تکنولوژي ۳۲ بيت را به فراموشي خواهد سپرد.
